The meeting was called to order by President Tom Harrison (N9PQJ) at 7:30 p.m.
The minutes from the meeting on December 7, 2010 were distributed and reviewed. Steve Schulze (N9UDO) motioned to accept the minutes as published. Dave Spearing (KB9CSW) seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
Treasurer Don Evenson (K9JYX) reported that after income and expenses, our balance is now $xx65.05. A motion was mad by Jane Steinweg (N9JAS) and seconded by Nathan Murray (KC9TUX) to accept the treasurer's report as presented. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
Old Business:
Our annual holiday party is scheduled for January 15, 2011, and will be held at Hooty's. The deadline for RSVP's is Saturday, January 8, 2011.
Steve (N9UDO) and Drew Smith (KC9LJK) are still working to make ARRL audio news available again.
YTARC is in need of a new trustee. Dave Spearing (KB9CSW) was nominated by Don (K9JYX), and seconded by Drew (KC9LJK). The motion passed unanimously.
This year's Swapfest flier is almost ready. Once again, 2 grand prizes have been generously donated by Brad Pointon (KB9VMC) of Pointon Communications. Thank you, Brad! After some discussion, a motion was made by Don (K9JYX) to raise the table rate to $10.00 each. Drew (KC9LJK) seconded the motion, and it was passed by unanimous vote.
New Business:
Field Day will be June 25 and 26 this year. Camping will begin on June 24. A committee has been organized and members include: Tom (N9PQJ), Brian Sprecher (KC9LCC), Jane (N9JAS), Drew (KC9LJK), and Don (K9JYX). Stay tuned for more details.
Steve (N9UDO) requested permission to purge membership data prior to 2009. Jane (N9JAS) motioned to approve this request. Brian (KC9LCC) seconded the motion and it passed by unanimous vote.
Drew (KC9LJK) motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m. The motion was seconded by Tom (N9PQJ), and passed unanimously.
