Old Business
Field Day  to be held on June 26 and 27 at Owen Park located between and Baraboo and Portage. Set up is scheduled after 6pm on Friday the 25th. We are able to camp out at the park, even though it is posted 'No Camping' We do have a special permit to accommodate this. If you don't want to camp, Field Day officially starts Saturday at 1pm and runs until Sunday at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to come out and operate the radios we will have set up. Tom, N9PQJ was able to update the ARRL Field Day locater page to the correct information for our Field Day location.

Circus Heritage Days at the Sauk County Fairgrounds was a huge success. We launched a balloon with cross-band voice repeater, GPS, APRS, live streaming video, video recorder, and still photos. The scouts enjoyed the presentation and especially the live video update. We had some that would check back periodically to see the progress. It was mentioned that we might have to adjust our launch time, as at the time we did it, a large group of scouts were on their way to the Circus World Grounds.  The question we have is, Do we want to do this again NEXT year?? Please let N9UDO know what you think. The cost to the club is about $90.00 for the gas for the balloons, and it was thought we still owe Brad, KB9VMC for the 2 tanks of gas from the last flight, the memorial flight for Jim Paul. Steve has posted the link to some video and still photos on the YTARC website under the Balloon tab. Also posted to the website is the link to Todd Sprinkman, KC9BQA, talk on VHF/UHF weak signal talk from the April meeting.

New Business
N9UDO updated the YTARC website to include a copy of an article from BSSS from Oct 1969 issue about the formation of YTARC and year end report from 1969. The report includes the number of members, and Steve included a current number for comparison.

N9UDO showed a video of a young girl contesting with CW and showing her at about 30-35 wpm. It was quite impressive to watch. We also watched a video from Joe, WB9SBD from the Balloon flight. It included the piece shown on NBC 15, and was really neat to see.

Dstar frequency is going to change. It is moving from 145.310 to 145.315. The change over will be occurring on Sunday June 20. The only thing you have to change is the frequency. All other information stays the same.

We read a Thank You note from the Family of Richard Schulze, N9UDO's dad, thanking us for the flowers we sent to the funeral.

Motion by K9JYX to dismiss. Second by Gary, W9ULK. Passed. Meeting dismissed at 9 pm.
